The government and industry are operating in a complicated and continually evolving digital landscape. Organisations are moving services to digital channels to reduce costs and improve customer engagement. They are rationalising and modernising legacy applications to unlock the power of their data and using analytics to drive improvements in their organisation.
We saw a place for a new kind of company. The kind of company that would guide organisations in the right direction and then work with them over the long term to deliver digital solutions that continually increase and add value on an ongoing basis.
In 2015, Incremental Group was born.
Our vision is for the government and industry to trust Incremental Group to deliver useful digital solutions that help them evolve.
Incremental Group’s mission is to enable government and industry to digitally transform their businesses, one step at a time.
We are open and honest. This means we never recommend or deliver something to a client that we don’t truly believe in. And we’re proud of the level of transparency we have with everyone we work with.
We see huge value in always working in a collaborative and cooperative manner. We always make the effort to meet and work face-to-face. This is a fundamental principle that we bring to solution design. We will partner – even with direct competitors – to deliver the best solution to our clients.
No excuses – ever. We never try and justify something being substandard, wrong or late. At Incremental Group we always own our actions.
We believe that there is always a better way. We never do something in a certain way just because that’s how it’s always been done. Our processes ensure that everyone picks at least one thing on every project to improve.
We set our own standards and never use the current state or market as the benchmark. Here at Incremental Group we always look up.

With strong foundations in technical support and customer service gained in her early career, she still gets most satisfaction from working with customers to resolve business issues. Angela has 20 years’ experience in the technology sector; from niche players, to privately owned high growth software businesses and large US multi-nationals. She is a member of The Association of Professional Sales, the body which advances and promotes excellence in sales.
Angela’s biggest achievement to date was commercialising a process safety solution that was initially delivered to a local energy provider. She developed and drove adoption in over a dozen major international energy companies across Europe, North America and Australasia, resulting in improvements in safety performance across the industry.
Today Angela is responsible for delivering Incremental Group’s growth targets by securing new customers and helping our existing customers to continually digitally evolve.

Strategic Development Director
On completing a degree in Computing Science almost 40 years ago, Alastair joined the technology industry and has never looked back. He wrote his last line of code in 1990 before leading his first team of software engineers. It was here he developed his passion for creating opportunities for people and helping them grow.
Alastair then worked extensively across the energy and financial services sectors whilst with Real Time Engineering. In 2002, inspired by the creation of a number of new public sector frameworks in Scotland, he launched a public sector division. For the last 15 years he built the business to employ 350 technologists.
As Strategic Development Director at Incremental Group, Alastair embarks on a new journey to help the public sector continue to digitally evolve.
Alastair is a board member of CodeClan and Scotland IS. He also sits on Glasgow University’s Computing Science Industrial Liaison Board. He was previously Chairman of Scotland IS and a board member of techUK.
Andy heads up Incremental Group’s Applications and Intelligence practices. Here he is accountable for ensuring the delivery of the highest quality solutions that best meet customers’ needs.
Since graduating with a computer science degree 20 years ago he has held a number of technical and team leadership positions in both corporate and SME organisations, delivering products and projects using traditional and agile methods for the public sector, financial services, telco and logistics organisations.
Most recently, prior to joining Incremental Group, Andy was responsible for designing, building and leading the technical team of a Scottish cloud based software as a service data science product start-up business.
Whilst he loves technology, as a real people person he gets most satisfaction in identifying and nurturing technical talent to achieve their potential.
